Date: Tuesday 11th October
Time: 9am – 5pm
Venue: Leigh Hackspace, Unit F1, The Cotton Mill, Mather Lane, Leigh, Lancashire, WN7 2PW.
Leigh Hackspace is proud to be able to offer a Business Startup Workshop aimed at those wanting to set up a creative enterprise. As with all our workshops, the 1-day course will be structured yet relaxed, and will have a practical and hands-on style.
Your friendly mountain guide for the course will be Marcus Baw, a founder of Leigh Hackspace and Director of several other companies – we will cover everything we can cram into a single day about creative businesses. The informal yet informative course will allow time for ‘hackday style’ getting on and doing it now, as well as open discussions and networking. We will also be inviting some carefully selected business-to-business (B2B) partners to answer your questions about services they provide and how they might benefit and strengthen your new business.
Please bring a laptop with you if you have one, as we will aim to get you ‘up and running’ with some parts of setting up your business right then and there, on the day.
Course fee: £165. All profits from the events go to the running of our non-profit Leigh Hackspace CIC, and therefore benefit the local creative community.
Places are strictly limited, so book now online: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/creative-business-launcher-workshop-tickets-27730838685?aff=efbevent
