Open Day – ‘What’s A Hackspace?’

Whether you’ve never heard of a Hackspace before, or just never quite got around to visiting us – we’re open this coming Saturday 1st April 11am – 5pm for a big Open Day – our members will be on hand to show you around and you can see what facilities we have on offer.

We’re a unique community-run Maker Space, with facilities for Woodworking, 3D Printing, Darkroom & Photography, Screen Printing, a Ceramics Kiln, Sewing and textiles equipment, electronics, technology and software development, Music recording and media, and much more!

We’re run by our members for our members on a non-profit basis. We’re here to help reinvigorate Leigh and the surrounding area with great facilities as a reasonable cost. ‘Hackspaces’ are for anything creative – if you are a maker, creator, artist, programmer, fixer, or simply want to learn  these things – come along and get involved.

It’s free to come along to our open day, and we’re family friendly. (We do however have some dangerous tools, so your children MUST be fully supervised 100% of the time)

No need to book, but you can get updates about the event here on our Facebook Page
